Differences between Solar Battery and Car Battery

Different Types:

Car battery adopts lead calcium alloy for grid frame, so there is less water decomposition when charging, and moisture evaporation is low. Also with the sealed structure, the acid gas releases few. Compared with the traditional battery, it doesn’t need to add any liquid, pile head for wiring and power advantages of long storage time.

Solar battery is the application of “battery” in solar photovoltaic power generation. At present, there are four kinds of lead-acid maintenance-free battery, ordinary lead-acid battery, colloid battery and alkaline nickel-cadmium battery.

Different Characteristics:

Car battery mainly consists of positive (negative) plate, separator, electrolyte, tank shell, connection bar and pole pile.

Solar battery is suitable for different environmental requirements, such as high altitude, high temperature, low temperature and other different conditions.

Different Working Principles:

Solar Battery:

During the day, the sunlight shines on the solar module, which causes the solar module to generate dc voltage to a certain extent, converts the light energy into electric energy, and then transmits it to the intelligent controller. After the overcharge protection of the intelligent controller, the electric energy from the solar module is transmitted to the battery for storage.

Car Battery:

In the process of transferring current from a car battery to an external circuit, discharge methods can be divided into constant discharge, constant resistance discharge, continuous discharge and intermittent discharge. Continuous discharge is a discharge method of continuous discharge to termination voltage under specified discharge conditions. Discontinuance discharge is a discharge method in which the battery discontinuities until the specified termination voltage under specified discharge conditions.
